Quick answers for the most common questions.

How do I add a song?

Tap Add a Song, then Choose from Files. If the song file came in Messages or by AirDrop, tap the file, tap Share, then pick Again From One.

Why can't I add a song from Apple Music or Spotify?

Those songs are locked, so no app can count them. Ask your teacher or coach for the song file instead. MP3, M4A, WAV and AIFF all work.

The 1 is in the wrong place. What do I do?

Open the song and tap Fix the 1. Tap along when you hear the 1, or move it one beat earlier or later. If the cards start halfway through a phrase, use Shift every card by 4. If every card feels like two 8-counts, or they fly by, use Change the count speed. You can undo any fix.

How do I loop more than one card?

Swipe to the first card you want, then tap + to add the next card. You can loop 1, 2 or 4 cards.

How do I slow it down?

Tap the speed button to switch between 50%, 75%, 90% and 100%. Press and hold it for finer steps up to 125%. The pitch stays the same.

Can I keep practicing with the screen locked?

Yes. The loop keeps playing, and you can play and pause from the lock screen, Control Center or your headphones.

Does it need Wi-Fi?

No. Everything happens on your iPhone, so it works in airplane mode.
