The problem
Every music app
Every rep starts with hunting for the 1. By rep five you’ve spent more time scrubbing than dancing.
Again From One
The song is already in 8-counts. Pick 11 and 12 and they loop from the 1, gapless, until you stop.
How it works
From AirDrop, Messages or Files. Share it to the app, or pick it from inside.
In a few seconds it finds the beat and every 1, then deals the song into 8-count cards.
It loops from the 1 until you stop. Slower, faster, with a count-in, one card or four.
What it does
Eight things, all made for practice, none of them for editing.
Your iPhone hears the beat and finds every 1, then deals the song into 8-count cards. Pop, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, cheer mixes.
Tap + to add the next card. The loop never leaves a gap and always comes back in on the 1.
Any speed from 50% to 125%. The music stays in key, so slow practice never sounds wobbly.
A count-in before the first loop, or before every loop, so you're set before the music hits.
A rep counter on the card, plus an optional pause of 2, 4 or 8 beats between reps to reset your spot.
Tap on the 1, nudge it a beat, or shift every card by 4. Your fix is saved and your sections move with it.
The app finds the verses, choruses and breaks. Loop one, chain a few, or add the next section every few reps.
Put the phone down and dance. Play and pause from your headphones, Control Center or the lock screen.
Privacy
Songs are counted on your iPhone, not on a server. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, and there’s no account to make. Try it:
FAQ
No. Songs from Apple Music or Spotify are locked, so they can’t be counted. Use the song file your teacher or coach sent instead, for example by AirDrop, Messages or Files.
Pop, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical and cheer mixes, as long as the music is in 4/4, which is almost every routine.
No. The music keeps its pitch at every speed from 50% to 125%, so a slow loop still sounds like your song, just slower.
Use Fix the 1. Tap along when you hear the 1, nudge it one beat earlier or later, or shift every card by 4 if the cards start halfway through a phrase. If every card feels like two (or flies by), change the count speed. Your fix is saved, and your sections move with it.
Neither. There’s no account, and songs are counted on your iPhone, so it works in airplane mode, in the car or in a gym with no signal.
It’s free while in early access.
It’s built for dancers first, so you can practice at home. Sharing a counted song with your team is on the way.
Stop finding the 1. Start dancing on it.
